Mentoring
Your grief is as unique as your fingerprints. It is as special as your relationship with your child. Its needs are different for every individual and they change with time.
The death of a child is possibly one of the most traumatic and painful losses. The amount of suffering it causes cannot be underestimated. It may come with other issues that make everyday life difficult. To name a few – relentless guilt, the perceived loss of a particular future, destabilisation of family dynamics and concerns about the well-being of other grieving members of the family.
In order to deal with all these complexities, it is imperative that you take good care of yourself in all respects – physical, emotional and spiritual. This gets easier if you have regular uninterrupted time with someone who has come through a similar situation. It is one way of being kind to yourself and thus enabling yourself to handle your life situations in a balanced and informed way.
